Finally after for like more than 6 years plus i think.... I'm heading back to my beloved hometown Kuching for the 10th Sarawak 's Rainforest World Music Festival... I think it would be another awesome festival, that is was I always heard from the peeps that has been to the festival... & they keep on coming back year after year. Booked 5 tickets & Hotel but dang! hotel kat area situ semua dah fully booked.... but wot ever it is would be goin there no matter wot cuz I miss the taste of "Tuak", gonna drink it like its "Gawai" when I'm there... yup put it in my todo listXAXAXAXA

Mail me some tuak, Rem :) We have our local liquor here as well. In Jakarta, it is "bir peletok" and in Bali it is "brem Bali".

Miss Connie... mmmm Tuak is more to a characteristic of a wine... but its sweet & yummy... "Bir Peletok" ??? never try that... how does it taste like?

It's a bit spicy since it's made of ginger. I think your "tuak" tastes more like "brem Bali" :)

ginger? itu bagus untuk buang angin dalam badan... i like that beer! XAXAXA tuak is made from fermented rice, yeast and sugar thus the sweetness taste sweeter that japanese Sake...
